CMS Change Request Update: CMS has issued another Change Request in regards to the 75% Rule. Change Request 5016, Transmittal 938, dated May 5, 2006 provides clarification with respect to the use of medical record review in determining IRF compliance percentage; and updates compliance review period. http://www.cms.hhs.gov/transmittals/downloads/R938CP.pdf

CMS Change Request Update: CMS has issued another Change Request in regards to the 75% Rule.  Change Request 3704, Transmittal 478, dated February 18, 2005 provides further review period definition and explanation and adds code 438.40 to Appendix A.  Click link here for a copy of the Change Request.
